Four-Star Pitt Target Royce Parham Nearing Commitment
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers could have land a new commitment in the class of 2024 this week, if four-star Royce Parham's announcement goes their way.
Parham, a top-100 prospect in the class of 2024 from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, will announce his college decision this week according to a report from George Michaelowski of Pittsburgh Sports Now and the Portal Report.
The 6'7, 200-pound junior is down to four schools - Marquette, Penn State, Xavier and Pitt. He narrowed a list of 12 schools down to that handful. Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Maryland, TCU and Rutgers were some of the other teams involved in his recruitment.
Parham would make it a hyper-local class of 2024 for the Panthers, who have already earned a commitment from three-star Lincoln Park junior Brandin Cummings, the brother of former Panthers point guard Nelly Cummings.
