NFL Combine Medical Evaluation Finds Broken Foot for Top CB Prospect

Alabama's Kool-Aid McKinstry won't be able to work out this week in Indianapolis.

One of the top cornerback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class won't be able to take part in on-field workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine this week.

During the medical evaluations at this year's event, it was discovered that Alabama's Kool-Aid McKinstry has a Jones fracture in his foot, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

McKinstry will be unable to go through on-field drills at the combine now, but is planning to take part in the Crimson Tide's pro day before having to address the injury with further medical attention, per Rapoport.

Widely regarded as a potential first-round pick in this year's draft, McKinstry should be back to 100 percent in time for training camp, and shouldn't see his draft stock impacted much by this news, if at all.
