NFL Player Props for Divisional Round Games This Weekend: Expert Picks for 1/20 & 1/21
Below, we’ve laid out our official picks for NFL Divisional Round player props. Whether you plan to tail these selections or not, be sure to become a new Caesars member with the Caesars promo code SI1000 in order to claim your $1,000 promotion.
Jordan Love Player Props: Over 249.5 Passing Yards (-115 at Caesars)
Our NFL player props will start off highlighting Jordan Love player props. The first-year starter has had quite the resurgence in the latter half of the campaign, and he’ll head into San Francisco playing arguably the best football of his life. The 49ers are well-known for having a stout defense, but that’s been more the case against the run this season than the pass.
For the season, SF ranks just 14th in the league in passing yards allowed per game at 214.2. Excluding the final regular season game where they rested many starters, the 49ers have also allowed over 250 passing yards to three of the last five quarterbacks they’ve faced. It’s also possible that they come out a bit rusty after being off last week.
In Love’s case, he’s racked up 250+ passing yards in eight of his last 10 games, including 272 yards for three touchdowns and no interceptions against the Cowboys last week. In a game where the Packers could see themselves trailing early and often, this bet makes sense. We’re taking Jordan Love O249.5 Passing Yards (-115 at Caesars) in the first of our NFL player props.
Josh Allen Player Props: Over 44.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at Caesars)
Secondly, Josh Allen player props stuck out to us when making picks for our NFL player props. He’s had a bit of an up-and-down campaign from a passing standpoint, but his legs have always been there, specifically recently. Allen has run a bit less overall than in years’ past, but when it matters most, he’s made the most of his athletic ability.
Last week against the Steelers, Allen compiled 74 rushing yards on eight carries. The week before that against the Dolphins he had 67 yards and against the Patriots the week prior, he recorded 44. It’s safe to say that, while the Bills would love to keep him out of harm's way as much as possible, when they need a big-time performance, Allen’s legs show up.
It’s also worth noting that the Chiefs are just 18th in the NFL in rush yards surrendered per game at 133.2. They’ve also given up 25+ rushing yards to the last three quarterbacks they’ve faced (Jake Browning, Easton Stick, Tua Tagovailoa), none of which have Allen’s mobility. At the end of the day, siding with Josh Allen O44.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at Caesars) may be the safest bet of all NFL player props.
