The first-year starter has had quite the resurgence in the latter half of the campaign, and he’ll head into San Francisco playing arguably the best football of his life. The 49ers are well-known for having a stout defense, but that’s been more the case against the run this season than the pass.

It’s also worth noting that the Chiefs are just 18th in the NFL in rush yards surrendered per game at 133.2. They’ve also given up 25+ rushing yards to the last three quarterbacks they’ve faced (Jake Browning, Easton Stick, Tua Tagovailoa), none of which have Allen’s mobility.
