NBA Picks, Predictions, Odds, Parlays & Best Bets: Today’s Games, 2/25

As the first Sunday with NBA games since the NFL season ended, the Association takes over TV screens everywhere with four nationally televised big-time matchups. ABC has an afternoon double-header between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers at 1:00 PM ET and a Western Conference clash between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns at 3:30 PM ET. ESPN follows with an evening double-header, including the Denver Nuggets visiting the Golden State Warriors at 7:00 PM ET, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Sacramento Kings.

In this article, I detail my official NBA picks today regarding three of these games, as well as a bonus NBA parlay today combining those three picks. Expert NBA Picks & Predictions for Today, 2/25

The NBA is arguably in the best place it's ever been with respect to individual talent and parity. Today, the depth of quality and individual talent are on full display with the four nationally televised matchups. Eight teams, eight legitimate NBA Finals hopefuls, filled with plenty of star power. Before we detail my exact NBA picks today and resulting NBA parlay today, let’s begin with my more general NBA predictions today.

Kicking off with Bucks vs. 76ers, I love the Bucks as the visiting squad with Joel Embiid absent. I love the Suns in their first home game of the second half. All three Nuggets-Warriors meetings have been decided by five or fewer points, and I love the Warriors keeping it tight once again on their home floor and avoiding the four-game season sweep. Lastly, I expect the well-rested to reach three consecutive wins against a Clippers squad that should experience some regression the second half of this season.

Best NBA Parlay Bet for Today’s Games at Caesars Sportsbook

Milwaukee Bucks Money Line (-195) Over Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers simply do not have the same firepower without reigning MVP Joel Embiid, as the frontcourt production takes a hit too substantial for Tyrese Maxey and Buddy Hield to overcome. Philly lost by 14 on their home floor the other night against the New York Knicks, and although the Bucks struggled mightily after the switch to head coach Doc Rivers, closing the season’s first half 3-8, I expect the All-Star break to solve some of the Bucks’ problems. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, the Bucks have a severe talent advantage, and Giannis should feast in the paint. In that loss to the Knicks, the 76ers were dominated on the glass, and surrendered quality production to frontcourt pieces like Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims.

The Bucks are a legit title contender, and I believe even with Embiid, the 76ers are more of a pretender, so take the better team to win outright.

Phoenix Suns -5 (-110) Over the Los Angeles Lakers

Bradley Beal continues to be sidelined with injury issues, but even without the big three on the floor together, the Suns have begun to find their groove after a rocky start to the season. During that rocky start, the Lakers owned the Suns. Today features the fifth and final meeting between these squads, and the Lakers lead 3-1, including a 122-119 win in Phoenix back on November 10.

Since the new year, the Suns are 16-8, compared to the Lakers’ 13-10 record. Since the new year, we’ve seen this matchup once, and the Suns won with ease in LA, 127-109. Beal was a major factor in that game, dropping 37, but Devin Booker and Kevin Durant’s combined 49 points should be counted on and even improved upon today. No Laker reached 20 points the last time out against the Suns, and I like the Suns’ defensive strides to be showcased again this afternoon, resulting in a resounding first win back in front of the home crowd.

Golden State Warriors +1.5 (-110) vs. Denver Nuggets

It’s hard to beat a team four times, even if you are the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets’ opponent isn’t just anyone, either, it’s Stephen Curry and the Warriors, who have won four championships since 2015. Nikola Jokic and Co. may very well repeat, or at least represent the West in the finals again, but today they are in hostile territory against a Warriors team with a point to prove that they still belong in the discussion at the top. The Warriors have dominated in both games since the break, and with Curry on fire, Draymond Green contributing and Klay Thompson settling into his new role, I like the Warriors to keep it rolling, safely backing GSW to keep this game within striking distance until the final buzzer.

Caesars Sportsbook provides first-bet insurance of up to $1,000, so if you tail any of the above picks and lose, you get the sum of your losses back in a bet credit. This bonus can also pair nicely with an NBA parlay today because you can place a substantial risk-free wager and enjoy a massive payout if successful. For that reason, you can combine Bucks ML, Suns -5 and Warriors +1.5 for a three-leg parlay (+451) at Caesars Sportsbook.
