Expert College Basketball Parlay Picks & Best Bets for Today’s Games, 3/2
Below is my game-by-game analysis for each of my college basketball parlay picks. The bullet point at the end of this section correctly rounds up my picks and displays what this college basketball parlay odds would be at DraftKings.
Florida vs. South Carolina Prediction, Picks & Best Bets
This is an interesting SEC battle as both teams enter this contest with 20+ wins. How they’ve gotten to that point can’t look any more different. The Gators predicate themselves on outsourcing every opponent, with not much focus on the defensive side of things. The Gamecocks are the polar opposite, showcasing a stout defense and one of the best in the entire country but struggling to put the ball in the cup.
As the saying goes, defense wins championships, which seems to be coming true with these teams’ recent performances. Florida is just 2-3 ATS in their last five games, whereas South Carolina is 7-3 in that department in their last 10. Look for the Gamecocks’ stifling defense to be the difference here, especially at home, as my first selection lands with South Carolina -1.5 (-105 at DraftKings).
Kansas vs. Baylor Prediction, Picks & Best Bets
This one shapes up to be a Big 12 masterclass between two of the best teams in the whole nation. One thing that sticks out when analyzing these squads is their home-road splits. Kansas is 14-1 at home but just 3-5 on the road, while Baylor is 13-2 at home and just 4-4 on the road. Even with the Bears being on their home floor here, the Jayhawks are talented enough to beat any team on any given night.
For this reason, we’ll shy away from the spread and instead target the total. Offensively, neither team has issues scoring efficiently (both top 25 in field goal percentage). And Kansas is the better defensive team, but they’re just good, not great. The over is 3-2 in Baylor’s last five home games, and this one should see a similar result with two explosive offenses. Take the Over 145.5 (-110 at DraftKings).
Marquette vs. Creighton Prediction, Picks & Best Bets
Finally, we have two Big East juggernauts meeting when Creighton hosts Marquette. We have a similar situation here as we do in the KU vs. Baylor matchup: good offenses and average-at-best defenses. Again, both squads rank inside the top 25 in the NCAA in field goal percentage.
The Golden Eagles have been the better team as of late, but with all the talent that the Bluejays have in conjunction with this game being played in their home arena, it’s tough to pick Marquette from a spread or money line perspective (although, that’s the way I’d lean). I’m much more confident in attacking another total.
Besides, it’s gone a robust 7-3 for Creighton in their last 10 games overall, including a perfect 6-0 in their last six home games. It’s safe to say that scoring should come second nature to players in this contest, which is why I’m choosing the Over 149.5 (-110 at DraftKings).
