WNBA Players Sit Out Games for the Second Consecutive Day
In response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, WNBA games have been postponed for the second straight day. On Thursday, The WNBPA released a statement explaining the decision saying Thursday was "a Day of Reflection, a Day of Informed Action and Mobilization." There were three games scheduled to play, Sky-Fever, Wings-Liberty, and Aces-Storm. According to the league, each of the three games will be rescheduled. As for the NBA, players reportedly voted to resume the season at some point this weekend.
