The younger Mahomes was booked by law enforcement officials at 7:42 a.m. in Kansas and is being held on $100,000 bond. The case related to Mahomes’s arrest was not available at the time of publication, though KCTV5 reported local police confirmed the charges are related to a late February incident where Mahomes was said to have shoved a waiter and forcibly kissed a restaurant owner whose establishment is located in Johnson County. He is reportedly facing three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery.

The incidents took place when Mahomes visited Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, located in Overland Park, Kans., on the night of Feb. 25. The waiter told The Kansas City Star that Mahomes and his five friends were in the restaurant’s basement office when Mahomes pushed the waiter and told him to get out as he attempted to retrieve his water bottle from inside the office.

Restaurant owner Aspen Vaughn said Mahomes then asked to speak to her in private about the waiter incident a little while later. The two went into her office where Vaughn says he grabbed her by the neck and kissed her at least twice, per The Star. The grab apparently left a bruise on her neck. The Star reviewed a video of the incident and a photo of her injuries.
