Seahawks Ex Russell Wilson Ripped by ESPN's Damien Woody: 'Crawl Before He Walks!'
Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been a magnet for criticism throughout his career, especially since his trade to the Denver Broncos two years ago.
Wilson, 35, signed a massive five-year deal with the Broncos before even playing a single down for them, only to massively underperform throughout his two seasons in orange and blue. After clashing with coach Sean Payton multiple times throughout the year, Wilson was benched for the final two games of the season and his time in Denver is almost certainly over.
While the Broncos are about to eat a massive dead cap hit to get rid of Wilson, the Seahawks continue to celebrate one of the biggest robberies in NFL history.

Despite falling on hard times recently, Wilson's confidence remains as high as ever. During a recent interview with former Seahawks teammate Brandon Marshall on the I Am Athlete podcast, Wilson boldly stated that his goal is to win two Super Bowls over the next five years.
Many were baffled by Wilson's seemingly-impossible goal given his recent struggles, with ESPN's Damien Woody lampooning him for such a claim.
“Can he crawl before he walks? In the past three seasons, two organizations have basically given up on Russell Wilson. The [Seattle] Seahawks and the Denver Broncos,” Woody said on ESPN's Get Up. “So before we talk about Super Bowls, let’s just try to find some stability in your game first.”
It's no stretch to say that Wilson is not a Super Bowl-caliber quarterback, even after his slight resurgence this season. For the longtime Seahawk to prove Woody and his other doubters wrong, it's going to take a near-unprecedented turnaround in the twilight of his career.
