Will Rams and Lions Become a Rivalry After Wild Card Matchup?
The Los Angeles Rams and the Detroit Lions have developed a history over the past couple of seasons, and there's a chance it could lead to a real rivalry.
It all started whenever the two teams swapped quarterbacks, and it became evident in the Wild Card that there was some bad blood as a result. Both teams look to be better off with their current quarterback, but that doesn't mean that there are no hard feelings at all.

But there is most definitely some bad blood that came from what happened in the second half of the Wild Card game. Lions safety Kerby Joseph landed a hard hit to the knee of Rams tight end Tyler Higbee that caused him to tear his MCL and his ACL.
Both parties have exchanged remarks on the incident, and as a result, the matchups between the two teams next season will be more heated as a result.
But even beyond next season, the Rams and the Lions will forever be connected after a trade like the Matthew Stafford for Jared Goff deal. Even after both of these players are retired, there will still be a connection between the two franchises.
