Jared Goff Projected to Finish 2019 With 2nd Most Passing Yards

In his three years in the NFL, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has progressively gotten better, highlighted mainly by his rising number of passing yards over the years. 

In his first season, Goff threw for just 1,089 yards, but followed it up with 3,804 and 4,688 yards in the following two years. 

Now, headed into a highly anticipated fourth season coming off of a Super Bowl appearance, the expectation for the former Cal Bear have only gotten higher. Bleacher Report's Maurice Moton recently predicted that Goff would finish the 2019 season with the second most passing yards in the league, behind just Matt Ryan who is pegged to break the 5,000 yard mark. 

It's no surprise that Ryan is projected to lead the league, as he finished third in 2018 with 4,924 yards, but Goff could easily be hot on his heels in 2019. With Cooper Kupp back in the lineup, plus the continued excellence of Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, Goff will have a strong core of play-makers around him. 

Should everyone stay healthy, the Rams will see their signal-caller at the top of several lists this coming year.
