Giants Add OLB Tashawn Bower to Camp Roster
The New York Giants have reportedly signed former LSU product Tashawn Bower, an outside linebacker, to their training camp roster.
Bower, 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, is a Livingston, New Jersey native who played his high school ball at Immaculata. He is a six-year NFL veteran who most recently played for the Raiders. Bower went undrafted, initially signing with the Vikings in 2017. He also spent time with the Patriots.
Bower has appeared in 26 career games with three starts. He has 23 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, and two quarterback hits in his career.
His best season came in 2020 as a member of the Patriots when in seven games played, he recorded 11 tackles in limited action.
In four seasons at LSU, Bower registered 60 tackles 12 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.
In other roster moves, the Giants waived/injured OLB Elerson Smith and waived DB Trenton Thompson.
