Los Angeles Chargers star defensive edge rusher Joey Bosa has dominated on the field throughout his NFL career. While different injuries have taken hold of him, he is one of the better defenders when he is healthy.

However, for one day, he will be participating in a different spot against a world champion. Bosa will compete against World Champion Competitive Eater Joey Chesnut in the second annual Pistachios Eating Championship.

The event will be taking place at Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier on February 26. Bosa will be the first-ever active NFL player to compete in this event, which features many of the major league eaters.

The competitors will get eight minutes to eat and crack open as many pistachios as they can. The winner will receive a championship title and $5,000 in cash prizes.

The second-place finisher receives $2,500, while third place gets $1,250. The winner of last year's event ate 188 pistachios, while Chesnut didn't even finish in the top three.

This is a cool competitive game for Bosa, and we wish him luck in it!
