In what has become a regular season ritual, the Cleveland Browns brought in six players to workout for the team on Friday. During the season, they will typically workout players for positions they have an immediate need for on Tuesday and players that they have an interest getting a closer look at on Friday.

On Friday the team brought the following players in for a workout:

WR- James Proche

Proche, (5'11", 193) is a name that should be familiar for Browns fans as he has played a lot of football for the Ravens over the last three years. He was drafted by Baltimore in the sixth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has 25 catches for 278 yards during his career.

WR- Shi Smith

Smith, (5'10", 190) was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth-round in 2021. He has caught a total of 28 passes for 400 yards and 2 touchdowns in his first two years. He is a fast and shifty receiver who can also help in the return game.

RB- Zavier Scott

Scott,(6'1", 220) played both receiver and running back in college. He was with the Colts during the preseason as a running back.

RB- Jacob Saylors

Taylor's, (5'11", 195) put up big numbers at a small college during his college career and was signed as an UDFA by the Bengals.

TE- Devin Asiasi

Asiasi, (6'3",253) is a former 3rd round pick by New England in 2020. He has also spent time with the Bengals and has totaled 4 catches for 44 yards and 1 touchdown.

QB- Anthony Brown

Brown, (6'1", 228) has spent his time with the Ravens, mostly on the practice squad. He did start one game last season with injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

While I don't think a signing of any of these players is likely at the moment, I do find it interesting that multiple players played with either the Ravens and Bengals during training camp.
