Browns Week 15 Inactives: 7 Players Out vs. Bears
The Browns have ruled X players out for their Week 15 matchup against the Bears at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Among them are LB Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), S Juan Thornhill (calf), DE Ogbo Okoronkwo (calf), C Ethan Pocic (stinger) and LB Jordan Kunaszyk (calf). The latter three players were ruled out Friday with their injuries.
CB Denzel Ward (shoulder) and DT Jordan Elliott (concussion) were not on the list and will play. Ward's return is especially key for the Browns, who have been without the two-time Pro Bowler for the last three games.
Here is the full list of inactives:
LB Anthony Walker Jr.
S Juan Thornhill
DE Ogbo Okoronkwo
C Ethan Pocic
LB Jordan Kunaszyk
CB Kahlef Hailassie
DE Sam Kamara
Walker was ruled out with his injury after testing it in pregame warmups. The seventh-year veteran was a limited participant in the final two days of practice this week but will miss his second game of the season and first since Week 12.
Thornhill was ruled questionable for the game despite not practicing at all this week, but he was not deemed ready to play Sunday. The Browns will be without all of their top three safeties this week as Grant Delpit and Rodney McLeod are both on injured reserve, so Ronnie Hickman, D'Anthony Bell and Duron Harmon could all see their highest workloads of the year.
Second-year edge rusher Alex Wright and rookie edge rusher Isaiah McGuire could all see increased playing time with Okoronkwo ruled out, while Nick Harris will start at center with Pocic set to miss his first game of the season.
Additionally, third-round rookie DT Siaki Ika will make his NFL debut. Ika, the 98th overall pick out of Baylor last spring, had been inactive each game so far this year.
Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
