Ted Karras Offers Up Great Nickname For Bengals' Offensive Tackles
Cincinnati has a new look along the offensive line.
CINCINNATI — "Brown County" is out and "Cincinnati Skyline" is in.
Ted Karras came up with the perfect new nickname for the Bengals' offensive line after the team added 6-8, 340-pound Amarius Mims over the weekend.
"I was a little bit nervous about having to relate to guys that young, but I mean he was amazing, obviously comes from a program that wins a lot," Karras said about Mims. "Going to be an awesome addition to this room, we got the Cincinnati Skyline at tackle. It was Brown County when it was just the Browns, but I think now that now that we have three at 6-8 or above, we gotta go with the 'Cincinnati Skyline.'"
Karras also noted it fits even better, with Skyline Chili being one of the team's sponsors.
Cincinnati is hoping that the trio can be more than enough to help keep Joe Burrow healthy for a full season.
