Cincinnati Bengals Bringing in Another Nose Tackle Prospect for Pre-Draft Visit
This could be a day three target for the Cincinnati Bengals.
CINCINNATI — The Bengals are bringing in Florida Atlantic defensive tackle Evan Anderson in for a visit according to Ryan Fowler.
Anderson is projected to be a day three pick in this year's draft. The Bengals have six selections in rounds 4-7. He's scheduled to visit on April 16 and also has visits scheduled with the Raiders and 49ers.
The Bengals also attended his pro day. They're clearly on the hunt for a nose tackle. Anderson had 58 tackles (5.5 for loss) and 3.5 sacks last year. He's an ideal target in the sixth or seventh rounds, even if the Bengals take another defensive tackle earlier in the draft.
It's reasonable to think Anderson could be a rotational player in the Bengals' defensive line room and help bolster their run defense as a rookie.
