Why The Wizards Are In Trouble Tonight

Wizards In For A Long Night As The Knicks Continue To Improve

Life gets busy for many, including the Washington Wizards. They have hit a very busy part of their schedule. They just finished a round trip in Cleveland as they played two road games against the Cavaliers. Tonight, they will play the second game of a back to back against the New York Knicks. The good news is they will be back at home tonight hosting the Knicks. The bad news is the Knicks had one of their best wins of the season last night and will look to build upon it as they seem to be improving as a team overall in the Eastern Conference. Tonight may get rough for the Washington Wizards.

The Bottom Line

The Washington Wizards look a bit fatigued already and we aren’t even at the NBA All Star Break. It has been a long, tiring, and exhausting season both physically and mentally for the Wizards. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place and the New York Knicks have hopes and dreams of being a title contender as they have recently improved with the addition of O.G. Anunoby. He will be a difference maker in this game because not only does he get buckets and can light you up beyond the ark, he also plays lockdown defense too. He will have the primary responsibility of guarding Kyle Kuzma who the Wizards rely on tremendously. He also may be on Jordan Poole too who is the second go to guy for the guys in red, white, and blue. Poole had quite the game against the Knicks in the preseason as he scored 41 points. The Wizards will need that kind of performance again from him tonight.
