Steph Curry's Status for Warriors vs Kings Game 2 Revealed

The Warriors will need Steph Curry in Game 2

The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings face off in a very pivotal Game 2 for the Warriors tonight. The Warriors have some players out, but it won't be Steph Curry.

Steph Curry is officially listed as available against the Sacramento Kings in Game 2. Unfortunately for the Warriors, Jordan Poole has been downgraded to questionable.

Curry missed the game-tying shot against the Kings on Saturday night, but he still had a fantastic game. The reigning Finals MVP put up 30 points on 55/43/100 shooting but had a rough five turnovers. He's going to need a much tighter handle on the ball if the Warriors want to survive Game 2.

Even though Curry had a plethora of turnovers in Game 1, that isn't the reason why the Warriors lost the game. The biggest issue for the Warriors was in the rebounding battle. Golden State was outrebounded 50-41, and lost the offensive rebounding battle 17-9, resulting in 8 more shot attempts for the Kings. The Sacramento Kings have too good of an offensive for the Warriors to allow 8 extra shot attempts.

Looking ahead to Game 2, the Golden State Warriors may want to consider shooting fewer threes, but will definitely need to gang rebound much better. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 because this conversation would be completely different if Andrew Wiggins made the wide-open game winning three.
