Steph Curry Reacts to De'Aaron Fox Joining Curry Brand
It was announced on Wednesday that Sacramento Kings star De'Aaron Fox has signed with Curry Brand, becoming the brand's first signature athlete. Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry reacted to the move in a Tweet, saying, "SPLASH!!!! The mission continues.…from 2020 when we launched, to this right here! Another step towards Changing the Game for Good! Welcome to the Curry Brand fam @swipathefox 🤝 Let’s get it!"
This is an exciting moment for Curry and Fox, as the two Pacific Division rivals are connecting off the court for this exciting new journey. While the Kings and Warriors have had their battles, Curry and Fox are big fans of one another, and are now teammates off the court.
Curry Brand has been growing since its launch, as there are few bigger draws in sports than the Warriors star. Now branching out by signing other stars, it will be interesting to see if any other players follow Fox and sign with Curry Brand. The news was strategically announced prior to Golden State's game against the Kings on Friday, when Curry and Fox will face off in a rematch of last year's opening round of the Western Conference Playoffs.
Curry of course sent Fox and the Kings home in seven games last season, and will look to pick up another win against them on Friday.
