Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers
After finally gaining some momentum recently, the Golden State Warriors have a tough test against a shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers team tonight.
The Warriors have four players listed on their injury report: Draymond Green, Chris Paul, Gary Payton II, and Andrew Wiggins. Draymond Green is questionable with a right knee contusion, Chris Paul is out with a left-hand fracture, Gary Payton II is out with a left hamstring strain, and Andrew Wiggins is probable with a left ankle contusion. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are both listed as available against the 76ers.
The Philadelphia 76ers have four players listed on their injury report: Joel Embiid, Nicolas Batum, Robert Covington, and De'Anthony Melton. Joel Embiid is out due to a procedure in his left meniscus, Nicolas Batum is out due to a left hamstring strain, Robert Covington is out due to a left knee bone bruise, and De'Anthony Melton is out due to a lumbar spine stress response. Tyrese Maxey is listed as available to play.
While the Warriors should have the advantage against a shorthanded 76ers team without Joel Embiid, it'll still be a tough battle for Golden State. They've already beaten Philadelphia once, and it's going to be hard to sweep them tonight. Even without Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers are a very well-disciplined team that Golden State can't take lightly.
The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers face off at 7:30 p.m. EST tonight.
