Draymond Green Reveals Adjustment Heat Must Make vs. Nuggets

The Miami Heat are looking to even the NBA Finals at 1-1 when they face the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 on Sunday night. Limiting the two-man game with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray will be a major key to getting that done, and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has the adjustment Miami must make in order to do this.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Green said the Heat should start Jimmy Butler on Jamal Murray, Bam Adebayo on Nikola Jokic, and have those two switch the pick and roll with Denver's two stars. While Butler is not an ideal option on Jokic, and Adebayo is not an ideal option on Murray, both players can hold their own following that switch, and Green explained why.

For Butler, he's a strong and physical defender. While he gives up a lot of size to Nikola Jokic, Green believes he could hold his own on that switch since Jokic cannot just run him over. For Adebayo, Green said he's not going to lock up Jamal Murray, but he can defend guards very well for someone his size and position. 

Ultimately, Green believes switching the Jokic and Murray pick and roll with Butler and Adebayo allows Miami to play more one on one, as opposed to over-helping and allowing Denver's shooters to get clean looks.
