Wolves transfer Luka Garza, Daishen Nix to Iowa

Both players have seen little action on the NBA level.

The Timberwolves announced on Wednesday they transferred center Luka Garza and guard Daishen Nix to their G-League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves.

Both players will be available for Iowa’s game against Cleveland on Thursday night.

Nix has played in six games for the Timberwolves this season, averaging 1.3 points in 3.5 minutes per game. 

Garza has played in five games, averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 3.2 minutes per game.

The move comes ahead of the Wolves’ Thursday game at Dallas. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
