Dallas Mavs Top 3 Betting Picks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: Luka Doncic Out, Tim Hardaway Jr., Karl-Anthony Towns

Looking for the best betting odds and predictions for tonight's Dallas Mavericks game? Check out DallasBasketball.com's best predictions and player props.

Dereck Lively II and the Dallas Mavericks hit the road to take on Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night.

The Mavs are fresh off their most disappointing loss of the season, falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, 113-110. Dallas blew a 20-point first half lead against a Cavs team without Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Even Mobley, giving up a 15-0 run in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to blow the game.

The Timberwolves are coming off a 129-106 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. Minnesota struggled in the second half, being outscored 63-46 in the final 24 minutes to end their two-game winning streak.

Notable Injuries

Mavericks: Luka Doncic (left quad soreness), Kyrie Irving (right heel contusion) and Maxi Kleber (right small toe dislocation) are out.

Timberwolves: Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee soreness) is questionable.

Player Props / Our Picks

Tim Hardaway Jr. O/U 3.5 3PM: Over

With Doncic out of Thursday night's game, THJ is going to have the brightest of green lights. Simply put, Timmy will be letting it fly against the Timberwolves. Take the over.

Tim Hardaway Jr. O/U 2.5 Assists: Under

On the season, Hardaway is averaging just 1.6 assists per game. With Doncic out of the lineup on top of Irving's absence, look for THJ's mindset to be even more on scoring the basketball to give Dallas a chance to upset Minnesota.

Karl-Anthony Towns O/U 1.5 Steals + Blocks: Under

Towns is by no means a defensive savant. Through 28 games, Towns is averaging 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. Over the last four games, Towns has only two total steals and no blocked shots. Take the under.

Prediction: With the Mavericks on the second night of a back-to-back, and who struggled against the Timberwolves two weeks ago, and without Doncic, the odds aren't in Dallas' favor. Take the Timberwolves -12.5.
