Orlando Magic Claw Back, Upset LA Clippers to End Losing Streak

The Orlando Magic snapped a two-game losing streak in its win on Friday night against the LA Clippers.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic is disappointed after a 100-97 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night at the Kia Center.

With 34.4 seconds left, the Magic trailed by one, Paolo Banchero turned the ball over, giving the ball back to the Clippers. Paul George was heavily contested by Jonathan Isaac, but he was able to get a fadeaway midrange jumper up to go up by three points.

The Magic had one last chance to tie the game, but Franz Wagner missed two chances to tie the game.

Banchero led the Magic in scoring with 23 points, while Jalen Suggs added 15 and Moe Wagner dropped 12 off the bench. The Clippers were led by Kawhi Leonard's 29 points. He was one of five Clippers in double figures.

For the Magic, the loss marks its third straight. Orlando hasn't lost three in a row since mid-January, and the slump couldn't come at a worse time with the Eastern Conference playoff standings getting tighter.

The Magic has a quick turnaround, returning to the floor tomorrow night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
