Lakers News: AI-Generated Retro LA All-Star Looks Are Insane

The world as we know it is being re-defined every day with AI being introduced and developed very quickly. Simple tasks can now be done in seconds with the help of certain technology and programming and it seems like even though it could make people lack creativity, it also helps bring their visions to life.

And some of our favorite superstars from the Los Angeles Lakers were thrown into an AI generator by the popular basketball media outlet 'Buckets' and the results were quite insane. They made both LeBron James and Anthony Davis into a version of themselves that would have been on the court in the 1980's.

James' hair certainly appears to be longer than usual and he's rocking his Cleveland Cavaliers threads with some retro aspects in them. He still has his signature headband on with some lettering.

Davis, on the other hand, is a close-up shot and he's rocking some sunglasses along with a mini-afro that is much shorter than the usual length his hair has been during his time with the Lakers.

With the NBA offseason in full effect, it's great to see fun trends that take place with some of our favorite players like this one. Both James and Davis have been captured on social media as of late getting their summer workouts in and they are preparing for the new season.

Even though it isn't the 1980's anymore, they certainly want to replicate the same success Lakers squads had during those times.
