Lakers News: 2 LA Stars Appear In "Kung Fu Panda 4" Ad

These Lakers teamed up with Jack Black.

Los Angeles Lakers stars Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves have teamed up with Jack Black to promote the new "Kung Fu Panda" movie.

Davis, Reaves and Black were part of an ad for "Kung Fu Panda 4," which will be released on March 8, 2024. The ad was shared earlier this week. The film was produced by DreamWorks Animation and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.

In the ad, Black challenges Davis and Reaves to "learn the ways of the dragon warrior" and to "master the art of the skadoosh." Davis and Reaves are seen shooting baskets and exclaiming "skadoosh!" Black, of course voices Po in the film franchise.

When they're not busy mastering the "skadoosh," Davis and Reaves are working to help the Lakers make the postseason. For the Lakers this season, Davis is averaging 24.8 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Reaves has averaged 15.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists. Both players will return to action Thursday night, when the Lakers take on the Washington Wizards.
