Perkins once again has high praise for the Utah Jazz
Former NBA player and current television analyst Kendrick Perkins continues to be a driving force in promoting the Utah Jazz within the national media.
During ESPN's 'Get Up' on Thursday Morning, Perkins said, "They are something special, and they are serious." He continued, "They could easily come out of the west. They are one team that is not lacking in anything. They have rim protection in Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors. They have perimeter shooting with Joe Ingles, Jordan Clarkson, (Bojan) Bogdanovic, (Mike) Conley, Donovan Mitchell, and they have wing defenders. (Royce) O'Neale is one of the most underrated guys in the league, the boy's guarding the wing position and the guard position, and they're well coached. This team at home is unbeatable and look, I would hate to play the Utah Jazz in a series and have to play a game seven in Utah. This is not (John) Stockton and (Karl) Malone, this is a new generation of the Utah Jazz, and they are electrifying, and they are very dangerous."
Perkins continued his admiration of the Utah Jazz on Twitter, saying, "Lets be real here people, the @utahjazz are the Best Team in the NBA!!! Period. Carry on..."
Very high praise coming after a 114-89 dismantling of the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.
The Jazz will take on the Miami Heat on February 26 at 6pm in American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The matchup will be televised on AT&T SportsNet and radio broadcast on 97.5FM or 1280AM.
