The Memphis Grizzlies are hosting the LA Clippers on Friday night in their first game back from the All-Star break, and star forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is being listed as probable to play. This is an updated status for Jackson, who was listed as doubtful for the Grizzlies' last game before the break and was ultimately ruled out.

With the probable listing, it seems Jackson will be good to make his return from injury for this game. It's right quadriceps tendon soreness that has Jackson on the injury report, and it has caused him to miss just one game.

With Ja Morant and Desmond Bane both sidelined due to injuries, Jackson is the go-to option offensively for Memphis when he is out there. This has produced varying results, but Jackson has shown some growth offensively this season, averaging a career-high 22.3 points per game.

While the efficiency hasn't always been great for Jackson, shooting just 44.9% from the field and 32.5% from deep, his offensive attack can come from almost every spot on the floor, which keeps the defense honest.

Still just 24 years old, Jackson will continue to evolve offensively, and is already one of the best defensive players in the game. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Jackson can get it done on both ends for the Grizzlies.
