NBA All-Star Makes Bold Statement on LA Clippers
The LA Clippers may not have the best record in the NBA, but many top players in the NBA are calling them the best team they've faced this season, including 5x NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been on a tremendous tear as of late, going 18-2 in their last 20 games. While the Clippers may not have been one of the teams that gave Cleveland their two losses, Donovan Mitchell still considers LA the best team they've faced this season.
When the Clippers faced off against the Cavaliers, it was a close game, but Cleveland ultimately won 118-108. For Mitchell to say that LA was the best team he's faced when both Milwaukee and Philadelphia have beaten Cleveland recently is a very interesting statement. It could be more specifically about the matchup and how hard Cleveland had to work for the win against the Clippers.
Donovan Mitchell isn't the only top-tier NBA player to say that the Clippers are the toughest team he's faced. He's joined by other elite players like Kevin Durant and Jaylen Brown in his sentiments. It creates the question of how good the Clippers truly be, and if they're healthy in the playoffs, how dominant could they become?
While the Clippers still have room for improvement in their rebounding department, this team is very close to playoff-ready.
