There's no way around it, James Harden has not been playing well since the All-Star break. More and more, he hasn't been able to score and has been a negative impact on the court - especially against the Sacramento Kings last night.
On Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings, James Harden only put up 6 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds on 14% shooting from the field. In the previous two games against the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic, Harden put up 33% and 25% from the field respectively. When asked about his recent struggles after the game, Harden gave a simple explanation.
"Just taking it one game at a time," Harden said. "I mean, they was trapping me. So, just trying to find ways to be aggressive. I think the pick-and-roll job, they didn't a really good job of being up majority of the game."
Tuesday night was the James Harden's 10th game of the season scoring under 10 points in a game. It's the most amount of these games Harden has had in a season since 2011, when he was a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. What's more alarming about this stat is the fact that it came on a night when the Clippers were short Kawhi Leonard, and needed James Harden to put up a vintage performance.
