The most recognizable face in UFC has retired once again, McGregor tweeted a photo of him and his mother smiling as he went to tweet, "Hey guys I’ve decided to retire from fighting. Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been! Here is a picture of myself and my mother in Las Vegas post one of my World title wins! Pick the home of your dreams Mags I love you! Whatever you desire it’s yours"

Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from MMA…. again.This is the third time McGregor has retired from the sport in four years, tweeting “Hey guys, I’ve decided to retire from fighting. Thank you for all the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been.”He told ESPN "The game just does not excite me, and that's that. All this waiting around. There's nothing happening. I'm going through opponent options, and there's nothing really there at the minute. There's nothing that's exciting me.”

UFC President Dana White says he’s not concerned with the departure of another of his sport’s stars, citing the Coronavirus pandemic as he told Yahoo! Sports “If these guys want to sit down and retire right now or if anybody feels uncomfortable with COVID or in any way, shape or form with what’s going on, you don’t have to fight. It’s all good.”
