Reds Veteran Set to Make Rehab Start in Triple-A Louisville

This is a big outing for the veteran starter.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Reds veteran Nick Lodolo will start on Sunday for the Louisville Bats. He hasn't pitched in a real game since May 14.

Lodolo is expected to stay in the game for roughly five innings. If all goes well, he could re-join the Reds and start for the as early as April 10.

He suffered a left tibia injury last season. When healthy, he's been an effective pitcher. Lodolo has posted a 4.31 career ERA in 26 starts. He finished sixth in Rookie of the Year voting in 2022.

Sunday is a big day with the Reds hoping to win their series against the Nationals, but our eyes will be on Louisville, as Lodolo makes his first start in Triple-A with hopes of returning to the big leagues in the near future.
