The Padres President of Baseball Operations is waiting on making payroll plans.

Padres President of Baseball Operations AJ Preller spoke to The San Diego Union-Tribune's Kevin Acee about the Padres plans for the offseason, his view on how Juan Soto fits in with the San Diego squad and his reasoning behind the way he built the 2023 roster. 

While Preller did not give away his entire strategy for how San Diego will approach a pivotal offseason, we apparently have until the World Series is over to speculate what moves the Padres might make after a disastrous 2023 season.
