WATCH: Braves regain the lead on a Money Mike mash
It's another pitchers' duel at Truist Park tonight. The Braves scratched a run across in the bottom of the first on a Matt Olson sac fly, with the Angels finally responding in the fifth when Zach Neto drove in a run by beating out a longshot double-play attempt. But the Braves, like any good team, were able to respond in the bottom half.
Michael Harris II was in an 0-2 hole against fellow southpaw Patrick Sandoval, but the Angels starter badly hung a slow sweeper. Money Mike didn't miss, depositing that meatball down a tunnel in the right-centerfield seats. That blast is Harris' tenth of the year, which makes him the eighth Brave to reach the double-digit homer plateau. It also stakes Spencer Strider to another one-run lead as we move into the later innings.
The game broadcast, with Voice of the Braves Brandon Gaudin, is available inside Braves Country on Bally Sports South and is available on MLB.TV outside of the broadcast area. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
