PITTSBURGH — The Blue Jays removed Vladimir Guerrero Jr. from the lineup Saturday with left wrist discomfort, the club announced.
After going 1-for-4 with an RBI on Friday versus the Pirates, Guerrero was originally scheduled to bat third and serve as the designated hitter for Game 2. The 24-year-old was then scratched an hour before game time.
Cavan Biggio replaced Guerrero in the lineup and will play first base. More details on Guerrero's injury will come after Saturday's game.
