New York Mets third baseman David Wright says his neck injury is a herniated disc, reports the New York Post’s Mike Puma.

Wright, who told reporters he will know more about the injury on Tuesday, has been out of New York’s starting lineup for three straight games since Friday. The 33-year-old spent much of last season on the disabled list with a strained right hamstring and spinal stenosis.

Before sustaining the injury last week, Wright had hit a home run in three consecutive games. He is hitting .226 with seven home runs, 14 RBIs and 55 strikeouts in 137 at–bats in 2016.
