WWE Star Becky Lynch Appearing On Mythical Kitchen’s ‘Last Meals’
The eclectic “last meal” included Irish stew, Hong Kong-style sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, and Cadbury’s chocolate from Ireland
Becky Lynch shares a new side of herself this week, revealing her favorite foods to the world in a very intimate discussion.
Lynch joined “Last Meals” on Mythical Kitchen for a multi-tiered discussion about life, death, and how it connects to the hypothetical last meal Lynch would eat before she dies.
The episode drops tomorrow. In an exclusive clip provided to Sports Illustrated, Lynch focused her attention on Rhea Ripley, who is her upcoming opponent at WrestleMania 40.
“She’s a star,” said Lynch. “So that’s what we need, we need more people that are on the level so that then we can have competitive matches where you’re not worried about having to make somebody else because they’re already made. She’s already made. Now I can just whip her ass.”
Throughout the interview, Lynch also detailed her role in the revolution of women’s wrestling along with fellow “Four Horsewomen” members Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bayley (“I like that mantle [of being a revolutionary]–not by myself obviously but being a part of it and having the foresight and the vision and wanting to see it come to fruition, and it did.”), and shared her optimism for the future of pro wrestling so that it is a place her daughter Rue would one day want to join (“I want it to continue and I want generations behind us to improve from that and for it to continue to get better so that when Rue is coming up she can just reap all the rewards, if she wants to do that. I don’t know that she wants to wrestle, but for whoever it is that does want that.”).
As Lynch eats her ideal last meal, she provided memories surrounding each dish. Her meal offered a lot of variety, and it featured Barry’s Irish breakfast tea with sourdough toast, Chipper chips and Irish sausages, Irish stew, and Monster Munch with a Fanta, Hong Kong-style sweet and sour chicken and fried rice, and Cadbury’s chocolate from Ireland, Jelly and ice cream for dessert.
This marks the beginning of a memorable week for Lynch. Her new book–The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl–is released to the public tomorrow, and she is also expected to further advance her story with Ripley ahead of WrestleMania.
