Inter Miami Lose First Game Since Lionel Messi Announcement
Inter Miami remain dead last in Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference after falling to yet another defeat on Saturday night.
Miami lost 3-1 away at New England Revolution.
Carles Gil, Matt Polster and Bobby Wood fired Revolution into a three-goal lead inside 51 minutes before Josef Martinez netted a late consolation strike for Miami from the penalty spot.
This was Miami's first game since Lionel Messi announced that he would be moving to Fort Lauderdale after his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires at the end of this month.
It was also Miami's second MLS game since club president David Beckham fired Phil Neville as head coach.
The first was a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of DC United.

Interim boss Javier Morales has been in charge of first-team affairs since Neville left but it is highly likely that a new permanent manager will have been appointed before Messi arrives next month.
It is not yet certain when Messi will make his debut for Miami, but the MLS transfer window does not open until July 5.
Miami's first two games after July 5 are on the road - against DC United on July 8 and St Louis on July 15.
It is thought that Miami will likely want Messi to make his debut in a home match.
That logic seems to point to the Leagues Cup fixture against Mexican side Cruz Azul on July 21 as a strong candidate for Messi's first game.
