Japanese GP Results: Max Verstappen Takes Pole Position In Suzuka With Red Bull Front Row

Max Verstappen will start the Japanese Grand Prix from pole position on Sunday. Joining the Red Bull driver on the front row is his teammate Sergio Perez who qualified in second position. 

Following the all Red Bull front row are Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz who will be starting from third and fourth, respectively. 

Investigation: George Russell is due to be investigated by the Stewards after the session for a potential unsafe release in the pit lane where he cut in front of McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.

McLaren remain looking strong against Red Bull, although both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have not been able to put in faster times than Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez yet. Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso is also putting himself up in the mix.

Time Deleted: Nico Hulkenberg had his time deleted for exceeding track limits at Turn 13, with 6 minutes left on the Q2 session.
