
UPDATE: Anfernee Simons' Injury Status For Knicks-Trail Blazers Game
UPDATE: Anfernee Simons has been ruled out (h/t Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan).
On Thursday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will host Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks in Oregon.
For the game, the Trail Blazers could be without one of their best players, as starting guard Anfernee Simons is on the injury report.

Simons is having a productive season with averages of 23.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 42 games.
That said, the Trail Blazers have had a tough season and are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-46 record in 65 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 106-102.
In 43 minutes of playing time, Simons had 36 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 10/23 from the field and 5/13 from the three-point range.
Following the Knicks, the Trail Blazers will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans.
As for the Knicks, they are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 38-27 record in 65 games.
