In a disappointing outing, the Wisconsin Badgers suffered a 31-22 defeat against Washington State. Despite a valiant second-half comeback attempt led by quarterback Tanner Mordecai, early mistakes and defensive lapses proved too much to overcome. Mordecai ended the night with 278 yards and a touchdown, but his efforts couldn't mitigate the Badgers' three turnovers or their struggle to contain Washington State's fast-paced offense.
