Report: Tucker DeVries Expected to Transfer to West Virginia

It's a DeVries family package deal.

Darian DeVries will be the next men's head basketball coach at West Virginia for at least the next five years, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.

DeVries will have his hands full over the coming weeks when it comes to piecing together the roster, but he's already gained one commitment. You guessed it, his son, Tucker. According to a report from Jeff Goodman from The Field of 68, Tucker is indeed expected to follow his father to Morgantown for what will be his final year of eligibility.

DeVries led Drake in scoring in each of the last three years, averaging 13.9, 18.6, and 21.6 points per game. For his career, DeVries has shot 43% from the field and 35.9% from three-point range. He's also averaged 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals over 104 career games.

In the 66-61 loss to Washington State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, DeVries notched 14 points on 6/18 shooting to go along with six assists and three rebounds.
