USC's Dynamic Wideouts Secure Spots on Biletnikoff Award Watch List
The USC Trojans have developed so much talent through their rich history; however, none of their position groups may be better than their wide receivers.
USC wide receivers have killed it in their time here, and two current ones are looking to do the same and are getting recognition.
Two of USC's own, Tahj Washington and Dorian Singer, are listed in the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List for the 2023 season.
The award is given to the most outstanding wide receiver in the country. Washington and Singer are looking to become the second Trojan in the school's history to win the award.
The first and only Trojan to win it is Marqise Lee, taking it home following the 2012 season.
Singer is a transfer coming in from Arizona and is coming off a 1,105-yard season with 66 receptions and six touchdowns, with an average of 16.7 yards. The incoming junior is primed for a big season and will play a significant role in the offense as the potential WR1.
Washington also looks to be WR1 and showed flashes of it in the 2022 offense. He collected 50 receptions, 785 yards, and six touchdowns with an average of 15.7 yards. The senior from Texas will be a focal point in the offense, and we cannot wait to see him shine.
Both of these guys have tremendous potential, and with Caleb Williams and Lincoln Riley leading the way, big things are set to happen. Good luck to both.
