All eyes are going to be on the incoming freshman stars this season when it comes to USC men's basketball as they were able to pull off one of their most successful recruiting periods ever and welcomed in Isaiah Collier, Bronny James, Arrinten Page, Brandon Gardner and a new transfer in DJ Rodman.

Head coach Andy Enfield will have his hands full with this new group as they look to bounce back after an early exit from the 2023 March Madness tournament. Lucky for them, they will not only have a new group of young talent but also numerous returners that will help lead the way.

Kobe Johnson will be one of those guys expected to guide these incoming prospects and along with Boogie Ellis, he knows what the program expects of him. Johnson is coming off of a very productive second campaign with the Trojans where he averaged about nine points and five boards over 33 games.

And he'll definitely have an NBA future ahead of him if he continues his improvement. Bleacher Report's latest 2024 mock draft has him getting selected at the very end of the second round with the 48th pick.

"With Isaiah Collier and Bronny James at USC, Johnson could draw some secondhand attention with defensive instincts, passing, cutting and offensive rebounding that all point to glue-guy potential. One more jump as a shooter could help teams look past the question marks about Johnson creating half-court offense."

Johnson will be able to fine-tune his offense this year and get a ton of great looks at the basket. He already has all of the physical tools to make a name for himself and continue raising his stock this season.
