Track and Field: Patricia Mroczkowski Wins Big East Weekly Award
UConn junior Patricia Mroczkowski (Berlin, Conn.) was named the BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at last weekend's Columbia Challenge.
STORRS, Conn. - Mroczkowski collected her third win in four meets this indoor season, beating the field in the high jump by clearing the bar at 1.80 meters, setting a new personal record. She ranks at the top of the BIG EAST and among the top-20 nationally (19th).
She and the rest of the Huskies are back in action this weekend at the Rutgers Open and the BU David Hemery Valentine Invite.
