Former UCLA Bruins are continuing to find success in the NBA after leaving college. This time a former UCLA star is tearing up the Summer League.

Guard Johnny Juzang was signed was the Utah Jazz after going undrafted in 2022. Even though he spent most of last season in the G League, Juzang is proving that he can playing NBA level basketball in the Summer League.

In the Jazz game Monday night, Juzang led the team in scoring coming off the bench.

Across 25 minutes, Juzang put up 26 points on 10-14 shooting in the Jazz 108-96 win over the Timberwolves.

On top of that the former Bruin also recorded four rebounds, three assists and went 80% from three.

In his first game in the Summer League, Juzang also played well. In 21 minutes off the bench, he shott 5-9 with 13 points.

In a post game interview, Juzang did not like the way he shot despite the numbers showing he shot over 50%.

"Im giving myself a C+. I think I could of finished a little better, but we started off good," said Juzang. (via Utah Jazz Twitter)

Being a top scorer on a team is nothing new for Juzang. In his final year at UCLA, the 6'7 guard averaged 15.7 points per game on a team that made it to the Sweet Sixteen.

Juzang also led the Bruins to a Final Four appearance in 2021 when he averaged 16 points on 44% shooting.

As long as Juzang stays consistent in the Summer League and in the G League, he could find himself getting minutes in Salt Lake for the Jazz.
