A Jersey Guy: Pick Six, Week 6
Back on pace, with a solid 5-1 record (Kansas let us down), which puts us a solid six games above .500 approaching the midway point in the season. One more solid week and we will have a nice solid cushion going into the crunch time of the CFB season.
The Games:
Oklahoma vs. Texas, O/U 60.5
Rutgers plus 14 at WISCONSIN
UTSA minus 13.5 at TEMPLE
Washington State plus 3.5 at UCLA
Kentucky plus 15 at GEORGIA
MIAMI minus 20.5 vs. Georgia Tech
The Picks
Oklahoma vs. Texas--Texas looks better and should win, but this is the Red River Rivalry and Oklahoma has some weapons as well. Last team with ball wins. Take the Over.
TEXAS 38, Oklahoma 30
Rutgers at Wisconsin.
RU doesn't score much, but plays good defense, Wisconsin doesn't score a lot. Hmm. Let's take one more chance on the Scarlet Nights to cover
Wisconsin 27, Rutgers 17
UTSA at TEMPLE
UTSA has been a sleeper pick which has been dozing most of the season. Temple is well, Temple. UTSA rolls to a covering victory.
UTSA 31, Temple 17
Washington State at UCLA
UCLA hasn't shown all that much and didn't show anything in a loss to Utah. Washington State is a tough opponent for anyone. Taking a chance here picking WSU on the roadto barely cover. .
UCLA 24, Washington State 21
Kentucky at GEORGIA
Auburn scared the Dawg out of Georgia last week, but that game was at Auburn. This game is in Athens, but Kentucky is much better than Auburn. Upset alert, Kentucky covers.
Georgia 31, Kentucky 24 (OT)
Georgia Tech at MIAMI
Hurricanes need to make a statement game as they prepare for a showdown with North Carolina and Clemson next two weeks. They make it. Canes win and cover easily.
Miami 42, Temple 10
Last week 5-1
Season to Date 18-12
Home Team in CAPS
