Tennessee Recruiting Earns National Eyes

The Tennessee Volunteers are making moves on the recruiting trail, and it seems the country is beginning to take note.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel has built a consistent recruiting pitch since he arrived on campus. The Vols pitch a family-oriented vibe centered around development and the community - it's paid dividends thus far, as Tennessee has signed fringe top-10 recruiting classes each of the past two seasons.

The 2025 cycle has the chance to be a really special group for Tennessee. They started hot by landing Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre, the No. 1 prospect on their board. Tennessee is still contending for several other national prospects, and the 247Sports Recruiting Show mentioned their work this past week.

The Vols have the No. 12 recruiting class in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports. They are contending for several other national names, including Providence Day School offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, Toombs County safety Lagonza Hayward, and more. The coaching staff hosted dozens and dozens of elite prospects this weekend, and we'll likely hear some positive returns quite soon.
