Marcus Harris Sets Finalists, Includes Tennessee Vols
2025 four-star wide receiver Marcus Harris (Santa Ana, Ca.) has cut his recruitment to five schools, including the Tennessee Volunteers.
Mater Dei High School wide receiver Marcus Harris visited the Tennessee Volunteers for the second time late last week, ensuring he got more time in front of the coaching staff before narrowing down his list. Now, the talented pass catcher is down to five schools. Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas will continue competing for the California native.
Harris will officially visit all five programs this summer before committing. He's scheduled to be in Knoxville, Tennessee, on the weekend of June 7. He'll join Eau Gallie High School defensive lineman Brandon Brown on his official visit trip. Brown is a Texas Longhorns commit, who will also officially visit Florida, Texas, and USC this summer.
Tennessee is still swinging for major receivers in this class, and Harris factors into their plans. He ranks as the No. 152 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Harris has amassed 1,288 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns over his past two seasons with Mater Dei, torching California defensive backs with precise route-running and impressive body control at the catch point.
