Get Up, It's Gameday! Spring Game Edition

The Tennessee Volunteers are gearing up to end spring practices.

The Tennessee Volunteers end the spring portion of their calendar later today when they kick off their "Orange and White" spring game. Dozens of elite recruits are attending, the national media is watching, and all eyes will be on quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Everyone raves about the physical tools and leadership that come with Iamaleava. However, head coach Josh Heupel sees more traits that should allow him to play quarterback at a high level in college. Heupel joined Greg McElroy on the "Always College Football Show" to discuss what trait Iamaleava has that the average fan may not notice.

"One of the great traits that a lot of guys won't see if you're just watching him on TV is his ability to process information over the middle of the football field," Heupel explained to McElroy. "He's got a great understanding of bodies in movement and windows that are opening up. He's a great anticipating thrower. Really proud of what he's done up to this point in this offseason. Obviously, we need him to have great urgency here as we get to the back half of spring ball and really through the summer to put himself in a position to play the way we need him to."
